Robin Sindici

Robin (D’Ascenzo) Sindici, age 68, passed away on December 28, 2020. She was the cherished wife of Jerry Sindici.

Robin was born in Detroit to parents Andy and Dolores D’Ascenzo. When she was very young, the family moved to Redford Township, where Robin lived for most of her formative years. She graduated from Thurston High School in Redford in 1970 and, many years later, helped to orchestrate a number of reunions for several different graduating classes.

Robin worked for many years with the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, where she made many lifelong friends. Robin loved to travel and eventually moved to Denver and San Diego. She finally moved back to the Detroit area, spending her final years in Livonia.

Robin’s passion for antiques and collectibles led her to start several retail and online businesses, including Robin’s Nest in Plymouth. When Robin returned to her faith, she and husband Jerry attended and became very active at NorthRidge Church in Plymouth.

One thing is for certain. Wherever Robin went, her cheerful disposition elevated everyone around and her beautiful smile lit up the room. We miss you terribly, Robin!

Robin is survived by her husband, Jerry, her brothers, Tony (Linda) D’Ascenzo, Brian (Janet) D’Ascenzo and Larry (Leslye) D’Ascenzo and many nieces and nephews.
