Roger W. Hawraney

Roger W. Hawraney, Age 91 of Livonia, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025 with his loving family by his side.  He was born on August 26, 1933 in Highland Park, Michigan and was a graduate of Dearborn Fordson High School.  After moving his young family to Livonia, he opened Roger and Rod’s Barbershop in 1964, which became a Livonia icon. He proudly served his community for nearly 60 years.

Roger is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and his wife, Etsa Hawraney, for 55 loving years.  Roger is survived by his children, Rod Hawraney and Lynne (Bob) Leece, his grandchildren Christy (Chris) Schafer, Brandon White, Lindsay (Chris) Williams, Rachel (Tony) Bowne, and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many loving family members and friends.
