Ronnie was a cute, blond hair mischievous little boy that never seemed to have bad days.  As an adult, Ron loved animals and children; and they loved him – maybe because he was always part little kid himself.  Ron was a defender and couldn’t stand to see anyone harm a woman, animal, or child.

Ron was a very intelligent, artistically, and talented boy.  However, he struggled with alcoholism most of his life which caused many problems for him.  Later in life when he joined AA, he progressed to setting up the meetings, leading groups, making speeches, and trying to help anyone who would let him.  Ron never stopped talking and at AA, this was a good thing.

When he was younger, he traveled around the country doing whatever job was available to him.  He worked in lumber camps, saw mills, dairy farms, worked on high rise buildings in Chicago, was a sheet metal fabricator, auto detailer, and even tried his hand at amateur boxing (although he said he wasn’t very good at it)

Ron had a lot of medical problems in the last few years.  He prayed everyday for God’s help buy mostly prayed for others.  He was one of the most forgiving, non-judgmental people that I know.
