Shuang (Crystal) Gan

Shuang (Crystal) Gan, went to be with her Lord Jesus on August 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 39 years young and enjoyed celebrating life each day. She is survived by her loving husband Joshua James Farlow-Wolgast; her five-year-old son Matthias James Gan Farlow-Wolgast and her parents, Guizhen Luo and Yuhe Gan. Shuang came to the United States from Chengdu,China in 2008 to pursue a master’s in accounting.  She became a US Citizen in 2019 and was a very proud American.  She often talked about her time in Chengdu and how the Pandas in the US came from her hometown. Shuang loved life and fought cancer until her last breath.  She inspired people and was a true example of endurance and Christ’s compassionate love to anyone she met.  Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be greatly missed.

on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 1:00PM. 

The family suggests memorials may be made to Compassion International or the Detroit Zoo.
