Stephen Lee Isner

         It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Stephen Lee Isner, 76 on January 14, 2026 after a long and arduous battle with cancer.

         Steve was born on November 22, 1949 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Mary Ellen and Raymond Francis Isner. the family relocated toMichigan when Steve was a child.

Steve was the precious husband of Debra, the beloved father of Matthew (Laure Bordas) and the adored grandpa of Adrien. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Raymond Carl Isner. He is survived by his loving sister Mary Pattee as well as several nieces and nephews.

          Steve was a US Army Veteran and served in Vietnam for 11 months as a Fixed Cryptograph Repairman. As an accomplished guitarist, music was his language, his solace and his method of connecting with people. He was active in various bands from his early teens until his 70's.

         Steve was a humble, kind and intelligent man with a great sense of humor.  He never complained and took life in stride even in the most difficult times. He loved his faith and he loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed.
