Theresa (Gauci) Frayer

November 5, 1939 – April 28, 2020

Theresa Frayer passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the age of 80. 

Theresa was born in Detroit, Michigan, the second of five children of the late Joseph and Josephine Gauci.  She attended Holy Redeemer High School in Detroit and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Dearborn in 1957.   Theresa lived, worked, and raised her family in Dearborn before moving to Plymouth 3 years ago.

Theresa had a generous heart and dearly loved all her family.  She especially enjoyed visiting with her immediate and extended family, those local and around the world.

She faced her last years of living with cancer with amazing grace and optimism that she extended to those around her.  She is dearly missed.

Theresa is survived by her children, Tom (Janet) Frayer; Karen (Ron) Brotherton and grandchildren Natalie and Laine; her sister Christina (George) Pfeiffer; nieces Tracie (Kevin) Mackey, Jenni (Sean) Steele, and nephew Max Pfeiffer; great nieces and nephew Sydney Keizer, Dayna Crough, Hayley and Cameron Mackey.   

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Frayer, and siblings Mary Gauci, Barbara Morris, and Paul Gauci.

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Remembrances can be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.
