I'll miss you dear "Uncle Bill". It was an honorary title but I remember all our vacations together and all the time we spent at your house or you at ours. I have to say a great big thank you for all the time you spent helping me work on my house. It is still not done but we sure had fun when you were around helping. All you ever wanted was a PB & J sandwich...made with love of course. You always called it like it was and I respected and admired that about you. Heaven gained another angel. Smile down on us and watch over us Dear Uncle Bill.

My dear neighbor and friend, I will miss you! Although I have not seen you in a while, you will always be close to my heart! I loved your many stories and your sharp wit! You will always be in my mind and heart. You have been blessed with children and grandchildren and surrounded by love. I know how much you missed your sweet Jean! I hope you both are dancing among the stars in heaven tonight. Be at peace, dear Bill.

Dear Dad,

We thank you for loving us and calling us your own. You showed us the importance of connecting with families and friends, as we were carted around town visiting all that dared let us into their homes when we were young. We learned the value of a dime, as that was our limit at the local ice cream stand. Sometimes somebody got more, but we learned to not be spiteful. The trips to Bishop Lake and Proud Lake were the best. We learned to swim and had fun lazing in the shade. The many voyages to Whitehall were the most memorable. How lucky we were to have good friends to swim, bike, hike, paddle down the pond and raise a ruckus with during all those years. So glad we can still go back there and sit up on the hill on the "mosquito coast." Now you are with mom some 26 years later. You two will continue to be a force in our lives as the best parents you could be, and we will remember all the valuable lessons you shared with us.

Wishing you all peace and comfort. Your parents reflex in you and they must have someone special because your all are dear. It's nice to read of your special memories as a family together. Keep those and always remember that the greatest gift is love and that it is love that lives eternal.
