Mom, i swear its been four years and nothing’s got any easier. I still think about you each and everyday and i still hold your words/thoughts/feelings close to my heart. Your birthdays coming up so i guess I’ve been feeling a little more alone than usual. I forgot i can write to you on here so
maybe I’ll start writing to you more and more and maybe.. just maybe that will keep my depression away. I love you so much mom and i miss you more and more each day.

Love, stephanie

My dear friend, Renay.  I went overseas to spend my Christmas Holiday only to return to hear the sad news of your passing.  I am lost for words.  You were taken from us way too soon.  I am grateful and privileged to have had you as my friend over the years.  We always found something to laugh about.  God bless you.

Tim,  My thoughts and prayers are with you, Stephanie, Erin and Timmie at this difficult time.  May you find strength in the happy memories you shared.

I worked nearby Renay while I was in the Livonia building at Comerica Bank.  She was always so helpful, professional and and was my go to person when I first arrived.  She will be deeply missed by her coworkers.  My Sympathy goes out her husband, her children and extended family and friends on their loss.

For Renay's Family,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I just learned of her passing at this moment, or I would have come to pay my respects.  She was always happy, especially when talking about her kids.  As I read her name in the Comerica news it struck me that I had not seen her in a long time.  Take comfort in the fact that she was loved by those who knew her and we will always treasure the moments we spent with her.

Renay was the most amazing person I have ever met. She was smart, funny, kind, sweet, and generous. She was my best friend. I will always remember our many adventures together. We took Steph and Courtny to meet Loonette. We attended numerous concerts with our kids. So, many birthdays shared together. I will miss our lunches, at our favorite spot and our long talks.
My heart is shattered, yet I take comfort in knowing we will meet again and our adventures will continue.
Tim, Steph, Erin, and Tim please know that my family is here for you always!
Love to all,
Lise

I was truly saddened to hear about the passing of Renay, I'm still in disbelief.  I didn't see her often, but it was guaranteed when I did run into her, she always had a great smile and we would definitely share some laughs.  I loved listening to her stories about Stephanie, Erin, and Timmy...she was such a great mother! Tim, I pray that God will strengthen you and your family during this difficult time and give you some type of peace and understanding.  God Bless you all!

Renay was one of those special people with a sensitive, sweet heart. I recall one time so dear to me.  My Dad, her Uncle Don, had passed away.  It was a difficult time.  I was holding it together until this moment at the funeral mass.  The tears were starting to flow down my face as I sat in front row at the church.   Then a gentle touch from behind me on my shoulder. It was Renay. Her loving, comforting touch meant the world to me. And it still does.

Renay was a great friend!  Supportive, caring and selfless.  Always there to lend a hand.  I will miss our "mom" talks and all the laughter we shared.  She loved her family very much.  So proud of her children and lit up when she spoke of them.  I am grateful for the times we shared and her friendship.  She was one of a kind and I will miss her terribly.  May God give strength to Tim, Stephanie, Erin and Timmy!

Tim,
My deepest sympathies for your loss. May you find comfort in the loving memories of Renay and may they warm your heart. Losing someone close to you can cause you to feel alone and heartbroken, but take comfort in God's Word, drawing ever closer to Him in prayer. Psalm 147:3 says that our loving Heavenly Father is healing the brokenhearted and binding up their painful spots. Isaiah 25:8 says that He will swallow up death forever and will wipe the tears from all faces, and those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of a resurrection (John 5:28,29).

Renay was a volleyball coach for Westland Youth Athletic Assoc (WYAA) for several years.  She touched the lives of many young girls while teaching them not only about volleyball, but about teamwork, sportsmanship, and how to be  confident, strong  young ladies.  There were always many requests from the girls and their parents to be on Renay's team.  WYAA activities are run purely by volunteers.  Renay put her heart and soul into making the program fun for the kids.  A special thank you to her family for sharing her with us.

Renay was a beautiful person.  She loved her family and always had a smile for you.  She was so encouraging when I had my daughter and sent her the most beautiful gift while I was on maternity leave.  She always asked about my baby, my whole family for that matter.  I could tell she really wanted to know how we were doing.  I am so very saddened that I won't run into her in Meijer on the weekends anymore or be able to talk to her about our children .  I will miss her greatly.

I want her family to know that she had a positive impact on so many people and that ALL of those people are now sending prayers.  GOD will be busy sorting them all out.  May you all be blessed and know that HE is with you.

Renay was such a caring, thoughtful, trustworthy person with a heart of gold.  She was a hard-worker with a positive attitude, who was always willing to help.  And she was funny… we shared so many laughs over the years.  She touched many people’s lives and leaves a hole in the Comerica family.  I feel blessed to have had her in my life and called her a friend.  I will really miss her caring smile and sharing stories with each other about our families… her family meant the world to her.  Stephanie, Erin and Timmy, she was so proud of each of you – her face would light up when she was talking about you.  May the happy memories help to ease the pain.  Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

What is a  Friend?
By: Joanna Fuchs
A friend is someone always there in the back of your mind, providing feelings of comfort and security.
A friend is someone who adds happy sparkle to your life, joy, fun, a predictable creator of happiness.
A friend is a stormproof shelter from life's challenges, troubles, uncertainties, an unassailable bond overcoming any challenge, strengthening the connection in the process.
YOU are all this and more, MY friend.

Thank YOU, Renay for being a friend who I will Cherish forever!!
BFF
Love YOU!

I am teary-eyed as I write this. I can echo what everyone has said, she had a wonderful smile and way about her. We laughed all the time when we worked together, went to lunch, I'd go see her to decompress and it worked. I was dumbfounded when I heard the news and so incredibly sad about losing such a dear friend. The Comerica family loves her and will keep her in our hearts and memories. God bless the Foley family and please know that she touched so many lives.

Praying for all of Renay's family and friends during this sad time.  She was always a joy to speak with and always seemed to have a smile on her face.  She always stopped to say hello and ask about my family.  The LOC building and CBRE team here will miss her smiling face very much.  Praying the Lord will comfort you all and give you grace like only He can through this difficult time.

I have been reflecting on memories though out the day,  Christmas Eve's at Grandma's and swimming in the pool at the SCS house as we were kids. More recently to the conversations we have had over past few years about our children.  Today my heart is saddened as a loving mom, wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend has ended her journey on earth.  Prayers for all that are grieving, may there be comfort in knowing you are surrounded by those who loved Renay.
