Elliott, Joan Monica (nee: Ambruster) August 23, 1938 to July 19, 2016. Joan was the loving wife of John, mother of 6, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 1. She married John in October 1959 and shared 57 wonderful years together. After starting their life in White Sands, New Mexico they moved to Michigan. Here she began a life of volunteering for various charities through St. Edith Parish. Joan was an excellent cook and hostess and enjoyed spending time with her friends. However, her greatest passion was her grandchildren, and much of her time was devoted to attending their activities.
